Do I have to buy SQL Server to use DBA?
ERP systems require you to purchase the Microsoft SQL Server database (or Oracle, Progress, DB2, etc.) for each users in addition to the software itself.
With DBA you have no database expense because DBA is bundled with the open source Firebird SQL database, which has comparable functionality to SQL Server and can support up to 100 or more users. With Firebird you have virtually no limits on file sizes and it requires no tuning or adjustments other than an occasional running of our Database Optimizer utility.
