What does DBA offer for quality control?

DBA provides several tools that can be helpful to your quality assurance program.

Within each BOM or job routing sequence you can enter multiple "tasks" that optionally print on the job traveler. Tasks are ideal for QC documentation and are clearly separated on the traveler from process documentation.

Scrap quantities for job outputs items are tracked by the routing sequence in which defects occur. We have plans to add user-defined QC codes in a future version of DBA so that you can attach reason codes to input and output scrap quantities for statistical purposes.

If you wish to receive items into a QC quarantine area, you can assign items a default receipt location for this purpose. After inspection is completed, you can transfer stock into standard warehouse locations.

Finally, QC-related documents can be attached to items and retrieved and attached to jobs.
