Mike Hart
President, Co-Founder
After graduating in 1976 from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Business Administration, Mike joined the family business, Hart Manufacturing Company, founded by his grandfather, Harold Hart in 1927. The company was a pioneer in computer automation and used one of the first in-house MRP systems for a company of its size. Mike worked in management there until the business was sold in 1986. Leveraging his computer experience, he worked as an independent software consultant and software reseller and ultimately represented five software packages of differing price levels and complexity. In 1992 Mike and his father, Warren, founded DBA Software Inc.
Warren Hart
Vice President, Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding DBA Software Inc. with his son, Mike, Warren spent 30 years as manager of the family business, Hart Manufacturing Company. The company had a diversified manufacturing operation that included injection molding, extrusion, metal fabrication, machining and assembly. After the company was sold in 1986, he joined Mike as a software reseller and co-founded DBA Software Inc. in 1992. Warren graduated from UCLA in 1952 with a B.S. degree in Physical Education.
Joe Hart
Operations Manager
Joe joined DBA in 2002. He was intrigued by the challenge of developing a direct sales and support system leveraging the power of the internet. He has been instrumental in setting up and implementing the DBA online support center. His efforts were featured in the Parature Help Desk Software July 2004 Newsletter (http://www.parature.com/paratrooper/joehart.aspx). Joe has a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in Economics from University of California at Irvine.
Bret Meader
Technical Support Manager
Bret was recruited by DBA in 2006 to head up its expanding support department. Previously, Bret worked for Wincor Nixdorf, Inc., where he managed a call center with 70 support agents. His education includes 110 hours of Computer Science and completion of Leadership Skills for Management at the University of Texas. Bret is a Desert Storm veteran and served in the U.S. Navy from 1988-1992 as an Operational Specialist 2nd class.
Fred Zumwalt
Programming Manager
Fred has been with DBA since 1997 and was intimately involved in developing DBA Classic, which was programmed in the TAS language, and DBA Manufacturing Next-Generation, which is written in Delphi. Fred has a BS in Management from Gilford College, North Carolina, and has an MBA from New Your University.
