Each set of POs generated by an MRP session is sent out to its respective suppliers. This is done within the Purchase Orders screen, here on the Purchasing menu.
On the List tab, POs that have already been sent to the supplier have a status of Printed. POs that have not yet been sent to the supplier have a status of Opened.
One-by-one, select each Opened status PO and click the Print PO button. Click Yes to Email or No to preview and print the PO. Here we are looking at the PO preview. Here we see the status of our PO has changed to Printed.
In summary, the key objective of this process is to promptly send out each new set of POs so that suppliers have as much time as possible to meet scheduled due dates.
