How are jobs and POs created in DBA?

In light manufacturing systems you must manually plan assembly builds and POs and enter them by hand, one by one. This requires extensive perusal of shortage reports and the use of BOM explosions, job chaining, and other homemade planning tools.

By contrast, DBA is an MRP system that automatically generates jobs and POs based on net demand relative to item order policies. Items can be made or purchased to order or you can set supply days targets based on monthly forecast amounts.
